About Sandy Lake

Sandy Lake is spring fed, quite shallow, and has a white sandy bottom (hence the name Sandy Lake). What makes this Lake so unique is its clearity and colour. On a sunny day, the water is a turquoise colour - you'd think you were in the Caribbean! Also, since the lake is shallow it's great for kids, and warms up very early in the season.

Casa Mañana cottage is very secluded and is located on the East shore of prestigious Sandy Lake. It’s a 3,000 sq. ft. cozy A-Frame style finished with a unique South-Western/Navajo decor. It has a 20ft. high vaulted pine ceiling in the living room/dining room area, and stunning panoramic views of the Lake and sunset. Casa Mañana has seven bedrooms, a living room with a stone fireplace, a gourmet kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, dining room, family room, three 4-piece bathrooms, and a screened-in porch.
